Adrian Hex is a Pittsburgh-born, Brooklyn-based producer and DJ carving out a distinct voice within the U.S. minimal and hypnotic techno landscape. A resident of Shift NYC since 2023 and a driving force in New York's underground, Adrian brings a relentless, focused energy to both his productions and DJ sets.
With a foundation in jazz and classical percussion, Adrian found his voice in electronic music, where production gave him the freedom to shape a sound that was entirely his own.
The Adrian Hex project emerged as both an artistic identity and a means of expression a way to step outside himself and create a space where emotion could exist without explanation.
Through murky, minimal rhythms threaded with breakbeat influences, breathy vocal textures, and a whispery, hypnotic edge, Adrian explores the balance between precision and vulnerability, creating music that is as immersive as it is functional on the dance floor.
With releases on labels such as Trau-ma, EvilGroove, and Calosc, Adrian Hex continues to carve out a distinct lane, defining a style of techno that values restraint, depth, and atmosphere while remaining uncompromising in its approach to the dance floor. His music has been heard in institutions such as Basement, Berghain, and Tresor, carried by that same commitment to sound over spectacle.
