Marteka Fair is a North Carolina–based producer whose discography bridges hypnotic techno and experimental rhythmic design. Her sound collides discreet repetitious motives to precipitate complex polyrhythmic textures. As a DJ, she has shared bills with artists such as Rrose, Rødhåd, DVS1, and Dustin Zahn, and has appeared at institutions and festivals central to contemporary techno, including Slingshot Festival, The Great Beyond, Tresor in Berlin, and Flash. Whether playing extended club sets or festival floors, her selections emphasize continuity and pressure, favoring long arcs over immediacy. Alongside her solo output, she is one half of Mit Filter, a techno duet with Matthew Cha rooted in long-standing musical trust and shared intuition. Marteka is also co-creator of Liminal Space, a live audiovisual series with visual artist Fluxxss that blends techno performance with immersive visual environments.
